Jordan and Richard exchanged vows in a September celebration at Crossed Keys Estate. From the garden ceremony and candlelit reception to the afterparty, every part of Jordan and Richard’s wedding day was a reflection of their style and curated to their personalities. Designed with Crossed Keys Designs, planned by Detailed Events by Lo, and captured by Jennifer Larsen, their wedding radiated romance and unforgettable flair.
Morning Moments
Jordan got ready in the Playhouse with her bridesmaids in soft pink Dessy gowns, while Richard prepared across the estate in the Pequest Parlor with his groomsmen. Jordan wore an Elysee Florentina gown with a detachable overskirt, paired with Jimmy Choo heels and a bouquet in blush, peach, and lavender tones. Richard’s Marzotto tux and Rolex watch kept his look polished and timeless. Before seeing each other, they exchanged private letters, adding to the anticipation of the morning.
First Look by the Hydrangeas
Their first look took place beside blooming hydrangeas, followed by portraits throughout the estate. Late summer light filtered through the trees and wrapped their portraits in golden light. Their dog, Stella, joined for a few portraits in a floral collar designed to coordinate with the day’s palette.
Glowing Garden Ceremony
Their ceremony was held outdoors facing the Old English garden, with an aisle lined in florals leading to an enchanting arbor of blush, peach, ivory, and lavender tones. Jordan and Richard exchanged promises surrounded by loved ones and the natural beauty of the estate.
Sinatra Serenades and Signature Bites
As guests moved into the Conservatory for cocktail hour, they were serenaded by a Frank Sinatra impersonator. The menu featured a raw bar with oysters, shrimp, and lobster tails, and a Philadelphia cheesesteak station. Mini lobster rolls, lamb chops, and steamed dumplings circulated the Conservatory and courtyard, while a live painter created watercolor portraits of attending guests.
The seating display by Miscellaneous Methods was a statement piece on its own with twin archways, pink floral print, and elegant gold script adding to the lively and luxurious atmosphere.
Wedding Reception Design
Before even setting a date, Jordan knew she wanted her love for flowers represented throughout her wedding day. Inside the Farmhouse, the space was transformed with tall floral arrangements, pink runners, cascading vines, wisteria, and candles filled the room. Blush linens, hydrangea-print napkins, gold flatware, and clear glass chargers, glass vases, stone centerpieces, desert rose, and dusty mauve candles created layers to each tablescape. The sweetheart table, framed with the arbor and aisle markers repurposed from the ceremony. Dinner featured a duet of Pistachio-Crusted Chilean Sea Bass and Herb-Crusted Filet with California Cabernet sauce, followed by vanilla wedding cake with chocolate mousse filling, cannolis, cookies, pastries, and coffee ice cream.
