Your wedding day is about celebrating love surrounded by your favorite people—and for many couples, that includes their dog. Crossed Keys Estate is proud to be one of the few dog-friendly wedding venues in New Jersey. We welcome your furry friend to be part of the celebration, from portraits to your ceremony.
Dog-Friendly NJ Wedding Venue Ideas
Picture your dog walking down the aisle with a floral collar or standing by your side as you exchange vows. Oftentimes, it’s just about having your beloved pet present, hanging out with family, and photographed with their favorite humans! Dogs are family too, so we encourage you to bring your furry friend to be a part of your big day. With 25+ private acres and a secluded garden ceremony space, our estate offers the perfect backdrop for unforgettable moments with your four-legged best friend.
Imagine your dog walking down the aisle with a floral collar or standing by your side as you exchange vows. Sometimes it’s simply about having your beloved pet nearby, posing for photos, and being included in the day. With 25+ acres of private, picturesque estate grounds, we offer the perfect setting for these unforgettable moments.
Whether your pup is your ring bearer, “Dog of Honor,” or a joyful observer, we’re here to help make it happen.
Dog-Friendly Wedding Tips
To ensure your pup feels comfortable and cared for, we recommend hiring a professional pet attendant. These services often include transportation, on-site support, and post-ceremony care. Our preferred partner is Smile ‘N’ Wag, but you’re welcome to choose a provider that suits your needs.
Don’t forget to pack the essentials: food, leash, water bowls, treats, waste bags, and a favorite toy.
Be sure to inform your photographer in advance so pet portraits can be built into your timeline.
Ways to Include Your Dog in Your Wedding
Whether your dog joins you on-site or stays comfortable at home, there are plenty of ways to include them in your celebration:
- Walk down the aisle as a ring bearer or “Dog of Honor”
- Add a custom cake topper featuring your pet
- Name your signature cocktail after them
- Include them in custom napkins, favors, or signage
- Use photo cutouts on the dance floor or in the photo booth
- Send guests home with dog-inspired favors
Pets are welcome for portraits and ceremonies. Whether they walk the aisle, pose for photos, or inspire signature touches throughout your day, we’re here to help you create a wedding that feels uniquely yours.
