Dreamy Peach + Blue Wedding: Shannon + Michael

March 7, 2023

Shannon + Michael’s July wedding made for an extra sweet summer day at Crossed Keys Estate. Dreamy peach + blue wedding florals were a perfect summer combo, feeling fresh and romantic for a warm July day. The palette also worked effortlessly with the couple’s fairytale-meets-rustic details + décor. Thanks to Tori Kelner Photography for capturing this magical day!

Getting Ready

Shannon and the girls got ready in the Playhouse, that they adorned with big balloons that spelled out “BRIDE” and disco balls. Music played and laughs were shared as hair and makeup prep began. Across the grounds, Michael and his groomsmen were getting ready in the Pequest Parlour. Suits were slipped on and the group headed out to the patio to relax with a few brews before the day really kicked off.

After the bride shared a sweet first look with her dad, she was ready to see her fiancé. The couple gathered on the tree-lined walkway where they were quick to embrace after the reveal. From there they were swept into portraits, strolling the grounds with photographer, Tori Kelner, who captured every romantic moment shared between the two. They even met up with their adorable dog, Finn, and the bridal party for some extra fun photos. A perfect warm up for the ceremony that awaited them in the garden.

Ceremony

A round gold arbor was carefully decorated with peach and blue florals, complimenting the bouquets of the Bride and her bridesmaids. Guests were welcomed in with a glass of champagne on stunning gold shelves as they entered the space. And refreshments were provided to keep everyone comfortable in the warmth of the day. Then, gathered in the garden, with family and friends, Shannon and Michael exchanged vows sealed with a kiss.

Cocktail Hour + Reception

Heading right into cocktail hour, our popular food stations such as the Street Taco Station and the Texas BBQ Station were ready to enjoy. Family photos and other personal details were displayed along with a guest book to sign. Guests were invited to snap a photo in front of a backdrop of greenery and a neon sign glowing with the couples’ name. The seating wall was made up of antique keys that each adorned the name and table number of a guest. Cocktail hour wrapped up as keys disappeared from the wall and the party headed into the farmhouse.

The peach and blue floral palette added a fresh feel to the farmhouse. Lush centerpieces continued the romance of the garden ceremony into the reception. The couple entered the reception with the hype of their bridal party, through farmhouse beams that were lush with greenery as well. Shannon and Michael shared a first dance “on the clouds” as dreamy white smoke surrounded them. Overall, creating a space that felt whimsical and fairytale-like. Festivities continued with delicious entrees, a busy dance floor, and a live painter recreating a portrait of the couple. A sweet cake cutting and dessert ended a sweet Summer wedding celebration.

The Crossed Keys team just loved hosting this joyful wedding day for Shannon and Michael!
