Lizzie and Nick’s July wedding at Crossed Keys Estate was the definition of timeless summer romance. With the estate in full bloom, their day unfolded with heartfelt details, soft blue tones, and a design that felt both effortless and elegant.
The morning began in the private Playhouse suite, where Lizzie and her bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done. Just across the grounds, Nick and his groomsmen relaxed on the private putting green before the couple shared their first look beside the stone cottage and rock garden.
Designed by Crossed Keys Designs, Lizzie’s bouquet was a seasonal, textural collection of white cosmos, astrantia, dahlias, hydrangea, lisianthus, pittosporum nigra, Queen Anne’s lace, ranunculus, rose polo, and scabiosa—capturing the breezy, garden-chic aesthetic of the day.
Before the ceremony, Lizzie and Nick signed their ketubah and marriage license together inside the Playhouse. (Planning your own New Jersey wedding? Here’s how to obtain your marriage license.)
Surrounded by family and friends, Lizzie and Nick exchanged vows beneath a chuppah adorned in white florals and greenery. Her brothers officiated the ceremony, and the lush aisle was lined with romantic arrangements, which were later transformed into gold vase centerpieces for the reception. A memory sign and bouquet placed on a reserved chair honoring loved ones who couldn’t be there.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and seasonal bites in the courtyard and Glass Conservatory before heading into the reception. The farmhouse featured a head table, allowing the couple to stay close to their inner circle throughout dinner and toasts. Textured Oxford napkins, dusty blue water goblets, and candlelight tied the design together with understated charm and cohesion.
Haley Richter Photography beautifully documented the entire day, capturing the authentic joy, sweeping estate views and intimate in-between moments with an artistic eye.
“As someone who wasn’t the most detail-oriented bride, I was so grateful for the amazing team that took care of everything. Kyle managed every detail seamlessly, and my dad still talks about how fantastic his service was. Katherine’s kindness made us feel like part of the Crossed Keys family. From start to finish, the team’s dedication made our day unforgettable.” – Lizzie
