Jasmine Goode and Melissa Carelli tied the knot on June 13 with a luxurious black-tie wedding at Crossed Keys Estate in Andover, New Jersey. Surrounded by candlelight, calla lilies, and the people they love most, the couple celebrated the official beginning of their marriage in the Garden State. We’re sharing a peek into their celebration, captured by SJ Del Priore Photo & Film.
Getting Ready
The morning began in the Playhouse, where Jasmine and Melissa spent the early hours of their wedding day together, dancing, laughing, and celebrating with champagne and their wedding party. When it was time to get dressed, they separated to keep their gowns a surprise until their first look.
Melissa wore a strapless Newhite Haven gown with a structured sweetheart neckline and draped bodice, paired with a sculptural bun. Jasmine chose a Valentini Couture Armonia dress detailed in romantic French lace, finished with white lace gloves and a dramatic cathedral veil for the ceremony.
Melissa’s sculptural bouquet of white calla lilies, hanging orchids, and green amaranthus held a piece of her late mother’s wedding day headpiece, carrying her with her all day. Jasmine’s lush garden-inspired bouquet was wrapped in lace from her mother’s wedding gown and adorned with her grandmother’s prayer charm, tying in generations of love into the day. Their bridal party dressed in black satin, held white calla lily bouquets tied with white satin ribbon bows, while the fathers and groomsmen wore single white calla lily boutonnieres.
Following their first look at the reflection pond, the day flowed into portraits in the garden, along the tree-lined driveway, and throughout the landscaped estate.
The Ceremony
Friends and family gathered outdoors for the garden ceremony. Staggered floral pedestals in a modern green-and-white palette of calla lilies, anthurium, and flowing amaranthus framed the couple as they exchanged personal vows. Including love notes Melissa had saved in her phone throughout their relationship. Jasmine described the moment of “Seeing Melissa walking down the aisle to me – everything else faded away, and it became about the two of us making a commitment to each other.”
Cocktail Hour and Reception
The black-tie reception continued into the Conservatory, a space with special meaning for the Carelli family, as it was designed by Melissa’s father, Mark Carelli. Guests mingled over espresso martinis and sushi during Cocktail Hour while Crossed Keys Designs put the finishing touches on the Farmhouse reception next door.
Candles were a key focus, adding drama and romance with candles glowing up 40 feet of windows, modern candelabras anchoring lush floral runners on serpentine tables, white wisteria cascading from the chandeliers, while florals lined the band’s stage. The result was moody, romantic, and undeniably elegant — exactly what Melissa envisioned when she described wanting guests to feel like they were “stepping into our love story.”
A Night to Remember
Jasmine and Melissa shared their first dance to “Speechless” by Dan + Shay, living up to the name and leaving the entire reception speechless with their effortless joy on the dance floor. The newlyweds snuck out just before dinner for golden hour photos, kicking off their heels and running through the grass together.
Both fathers brought the room to tears with their speeches, before the energy shifted entirely when Jasmine reunited with her former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader teammates for a surprise performance of “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC – one of the most unforgettable moments these walls have ever seen.
The afterparty shifted into the Conservatory, where guests gathered to watch the final minutes of the NBA Championship, fueling up with late-night cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets. The celebration erupted when the New York Knicks secured the championship win, and Jasmine and Melissa danced in their Knicks jackets.
