We’ve had the privilege of witnessing countless love stories unfold, but Alexandra D’Alia and Michael Palestri’s wedding was an emotional and elegant day. Tying the knot on the first Friday of June with a theme that encapsulated their version of TGIF– “Thank God It’s Forever.” Their evening at our estate beautifully showcased everything we strive to offer—an unforgettable experience for our couples and their loved ones.
Their kind words in their review have touched our entire team, and we are deeply grateful to have been part of their special day. As Ally said, “Not one detail went unattended to or unnoticed,” and that’s exactly how we approach every wedding at Crossed Keys Estate.
Ally and Michael decided to forgo a first look, choosing instead to see each other for the first time at their ceremony—a decision that heightened the anticipation and magic of the moment. The bridal parties prepared for the day in our separate spaces: The Parlor and The Playhouse suites. This careful arrangement ensures that the couple wouldn’t cross paths before the ceremony, allowing them to fully embrace the emotional moment when they finally saw each other.

Vibrant Vibes
A trend we absolutely adore is having your bridesmaids wear all different dresses, shades and patterns. Ally’s bridal party brought a vibrant pop of color, with a variety of dresses ranging from pastel florals to bold hot pink.

The Ceremony: A Picture of Timeless Elegance
The ceremony’s focal point was an arched arbor adorned with a myriad of greenery—ruscus, ivy, pittosporums— and muted pink roses beautifully crafted by our exclusive florist, Crossed Keys Designs. The ceremony was as stunning as it was heartfelt. Ally and Michael’s decision to reverse the typical ceremony set up, facing the fence instead of the garden, ensured that they were the focal point. Watching Michael’s reaction as Ally appeared in her exquisite Reem Acra ball gown was a moment to cherish. Ally’s bouquet, featuring elegant quicksand long-stem roses, complemented her timeless bridal style.
Classic Black-Tie Reception
After the ceremony, guests were welcomed into a luxurious cocktail hour in our glass Conservatory. The black-tie dress code perfectly matched the sophisticated atmosphere, and the array of passed hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails—Pink Señorita and Old Fashioned—customized by the couple, added a personal touch.
As the reception transitioned into our Farmhouse, the elegant yet welcoming atmosphere continued. The muted pink florals and decor, thoughtfully designed by Jessica and our Crossed Keys Designs team, perfectly aligned with the couple’s vision, creating a romantic setting that felt both timeless and uniquely personal.
The newlywed’s sweetheart table located in front of the farmhouse windows featured their ceremony arbor, seamlessly moved it from the ceremony site to the reception hall during cocktail hour, allowing the stunning display to be enjoyed throughout the evening. Additionally, the aisle markers, which featured pale blush roses, were transformed into centerpieces for the reception along with candles and bud vases, enhancing the overall decor. By repurposing these elements, we ensured that every floral detail not only elevated the aesthetic but also provided the most value for the couple’s floral budget.
Ally and Michael’s first dance, surrounded by their loved ones, was a truly magical moment. The energy and love in the room were palpable from Michael’s shared dance with his mother, and Ally with her father—moments that reminded us why we do what we do.

A Sweet Ending
The evening ended on a sweet note as Ally and Michael cut into their vintage devil’s food cake, filled with chocolate ganache and raspberry marmalade and topped with a cake topper from Ally’s grandmother’s wedding. As we looked around the room, filled with happy guests and beaming newlyweds, we couldn’t help but feel grateful to have been part of this unforgettable celebration.
