This Crossed Keys Estate couple hosted the most amazing lush garden wedding with a touch of elegant, bohemian vibes.
Getting Ready
The August celebrations began with Shanice and her party as they got ready in the Crossed Keys Estate Playhouse. The bride wore a stunning Berta wedding gown covered in floral appliqués and completed the look with full hair and makeup glam. Meanwhile the groom and his groomsmen got ready in the Pequest Parlor. Sam dressed in a classic navy and black suit and Gucci shoes when he met his bride for their first look on the grounds.
Garden Ceremony
After an emotional “First Look” moment together, the couple headed to the garden to exchange vows. Under a hexagonal arbor adorned with wedding florals, Shanice’s grandfather officiated the ceremony pronouncing them “husband + wife”. This sweet couple was sure to include family traditions to the ceremony as well before heading to cocktail hour!
Cocktail Hour
The cocktail hour and reception is where their one-of-a-kind details were front and center! Guests were welcomed by the most incredible rosé wall and seating chart by the talented House of Catherine. The bridal party kicked things off with Shanice + Sam, who topped off a champagne tower before a grand toast! Cocktail hour began and included all of the classic stations with fun favorites like Texas BBQ and Philly cheesesteaks.
Farmhouse Reception
Meanwhile, in the farmhouse, the Crossed Keys Designs team had worked their magic. When it came to the reception decor, it was important to the Bride to have a mix of shapes and unique details. This allowed the CKD team to be creative with a mix of round tables, farmhouse tables, custom linens, lush floral arrangements, and an over-the-top head table with a greenery canopy overtop. For dinner, the guests were served a duet entree of grilled ribeye and ginger-garlic glazed salmon allowing them to taste a bit of everything! The celebration continued into an after party featuring passed zeppoles and a pretzel wall!
This lush garden wedding day was one to remember and the most perfect beginning for Sam + Shanice!
