2023 Wedding Trends

February 6, 2023

The Crossed Keys Estate team is eager for the 2023 wedding season. Not only do we love the wedding celebrations, we love seeing the unique details, floral, decor, and personal touches at each event. So what wedding trends will 2023 bring? Here are some of our predictions that we hope to see at our wedding venue…

Trend: Colorful Wedding Flowers

After seasons of seeing the neutral color palette reign, color is set to return in 2023. Bright florals always add to a joyful celebration. A pop of color also makes for memorable floral moments and of course, photographs beautifully.

Trend: Second Dress/Outfit

Why have one wedding dress when you can have two?! This goes for wedding suits too! As we saw in 2022, changing into a second dress or suit for the reception/after party was a fun wedding trend for both Brides + Grooms. We’re convinced we’ll continue to see this trend into 2023, whether it’s to make a fashion statement or to be more comfortable dancing the night away.

Trend: Variety in Bridesmaids Dresses

Uniform bridesmaids dresses already have begun to feel like a thing of the past. With so many beautiful hues and patterns to choose from, Brides are opting for a variety of dresses for their bridal party. Beautiful in photos, but also allows your wedding party to feel most comfortable in a dress that may suit them best.

Trend: Flash/Blurry Love Drunk photos

Throwback to the 90’s disposable cameras… Flash photography is in! These photos give a retro vibe with that “drunk in love” feel, perfect when capturing those end of the night feels.

Trend: Classic Bridal Style

Think Grace Kelly. Think royal. We continue to see a more traditional bridal style prevail, with of course, a modern twist. Timeless wedding dresses and traditional veils that feel classic yet chic.

Trend: Champagne Tower

A major photo moment that is both luxe and romantic. Pour champagne together to celebrate the day with your wedding party surrounding you. We’re sure this memorable wedding day moment will continue to be popular into 2023!

Trend: Making Your Wedding Day Uniquely You

We continue to see incredible details or experiences provided by the couple that truly reflect their style, interests, and talents. Like Brittany Lucas’ California inspired arbor, Alicia + Phil’s Budweiser seating wall, or Victoria and Francesco’s french fry holders for late night bites with guests.
