Green and White Wedding: Courtney + Chris

November 16, 2022

This July celebration at Crossed Keys Estate defined the new classic, a green and white wedding. All white flowers and lush greenery made for a modern wedding design for our couple, Courtney and Chris, that was executed to perfection by our in-house floral and decor team, Crossed Keys Designs. Thank you to Longbrook Photography for always capturing romance so elegantly here at our New Jersey wedding venue, Crossed Keys Estate.

Courtney and the girls spent the morning in the Playhouse, where hair and makeup pampering commenced. The bridal party captured the morning with fun polaroids and stepped outside to enjoy the July weather on the Estate grounds. Courtney’s dress was one to remember with romantic tulle that tied up in delicate bows on her shoulders. Chris and his groomsmen kept it casual on the putting green outside of the Pequest Parlor before having to suit up for the big day. Greenery weaved its way through white florals for the Bride and Groom and their wedding party. To further enhance the color palette, the bridesmaids wore luxurious green dresses while the men wore a classic black tux.

After the First Look, the couple took a romantic stroll around the grounds for portraits. As guests arrived into the ceremony space, they were met with a glass of champagne from gold lined champagne shelves. Lush green and white floral arrangements stood at the start of the aisle. The two piece “broken” arch was adorned with all white flowers that popped against the green meadow, making for a unique wedding ceremony. Before the couple said “I do”, their dog playfully ran down the aisle to give them a warm greeting! Next was a sweet first kiss, and then it was off to celebrate!

Cocktail hour served some crowd pleasers like Crossed Keys Estate’s Street Taco station and Mac & Cheese Bar. Also served were the classics like the charcuterie table and the bountiful table of assorted dips, cheese, hummus, grilled vegetables and more. Guests were giddy to grab their “escort card” that came in the form of a silver dipped toy car on a display wall that read “Find your Ride”. In the Farmhouse reception space, the green and white wedding details kept with the classic feel of the day. The table decor was simple yet modern, allowing space for the beauty of the Farmhouse itself. The ceremony arbor was repurposed to perfectly frame the couple at the head table. Reception entrances, first dances, toasts, followed by a playful cake cutting… the evening was filled with memories and lastly, ended with a good time for all on the dance floor!

Green and white wedding floral and decor continues to be the new classic in the wedding industry. Courtney and Chris’s wedding day is the perfect example of how fresh and modern this timeless design can be!
