Summertime NJ Wedding – Monica + Paul’s

April 15, 2020

It was such a pleasure hosting Monica & Paul’s wedding at the Estate! Their wedding was about as fun as it gets- endless laughs, great entertainment, yard games for days. I mean, who doesn’t love ping pong!

September in New Jersey is beautiful and especially at the Estate where 200 year old trees show just a tinge of fall hues on the tips of their leaves. Everything is still fresh and vibrant.… it’s our own little heaven.

The colors Monica chose were perfect for this seasonally transitional month- a minty sage green paired with ivory and pale blush.  Classic, elegant, and soft tones made this wedding romantic and memorable.

After the bridal party had some time for pictures, it was the couple’s turn. Their first look was hilarious! Monica cozied up to paul with a full-on butt grab. It made an exciting, sweet moment extra hilarious and diffused any jitters instantly.

For their lovely garden ceremony, the two were sure to incorporate cultural traditions. Each of their mothers blessed the couple and they sealed it with a kiss!

The reception was timelessly chic with bright white and subtle textural additions.   One of our absolute favorite design elements for the reception was the custom escort cookies made by the couples’ friend.  A food element that can double as a favor & escort card is not only smart but delicious!

The reception was an awesome party. The dance floor was packed all night- with the bridal party taking center stage most of the evening. Certainly a wedding to remember.

A big thank you to Monica + Paul for their trust in us to make all their dreams come true!
