When it comes to mason jars, not everyone is as savvy as the jam making-pickling-overnight oats-mavens of the world.
But when it comes to weddings and mason jars, we’ve got you covered. Many brides ask us about sizes when it comes to making their wedding vision come true. So we created a quick and dirty guide to knowing your mason jar sizes.
If you’re considering mason jar mugs, we recommend the 16 oz size as drinks stay filled longer and thus, shorter lines at the bar. We’ve also used the 8 oz jars for refreshments pre-ceremony, as most people just need a little something to quench their thirst and will often only be using that glass for only 10-15 minutes before they sit down.
If you’re doing something extra special like a large arrangement or using a jar to collect “advice for the newlyweds” or similar guestbook notes, mason jars come in half gallon (64 oz) and gallon (128 oz) sizes as well.
Don’t forget to personalize your mason jars with spray paint, glue, glitter, and anything else you can think of! {Find the how-to’s here: “5 Ways to Paint Mason Jars”}
