14 years in the making, Katie & Eric’s wedding day was filled with joy, love, and lots of cheer. Bright, happy faces were all around Crossed Keys on June 2, 2012. An elated bridal party, gracious family, and incredibly happy couple literally filled the grounds with pure joy.
Katie’s color choices of bright green and electric blue only added to the fun feeling of the event. The bridal bouquet featured white peonies, white roses, and touches of blue and green that perfectly tied in with the fluffy bridesmaids’ bouquets and adorable boutonnieres. To top it off, we hand picked a single white dahlia from our gardens for Katie’s hair. The centerpieces were the perfect pop of color under the big white tent and tied in well with the natural, garden look of the venue.
Finally {my last and favorite little wedding tidbit!}, Katie & Eric’s photographer had the genius idea of taking some shots in an overgrown field during sunset. The results were nothing short of stunning. With the sun at the right angle and a bunch of balloons over your shoulder, who could ask for a more rustic and fun photo session?! It was such a pleasure working with this happy couple and their lovely family. We wish you all the best Katie & Eric!
